Today we exchanged our Alchemy books for Smells. We then turned in our Alchemy journals. Finally, we watched a World of Chemistry film about the chemistry of water.

Today is the big Alchemy final. This is your final for first semester. Be sure to bring your textbook tomorrow so we can exchange it at the library.
April 4, 2008 - Friday
Today we reviewed for the test on Monday. You are to finish your review packets and be ready to hand them in on Monday.
April 3, 2008 - Thursday
Today we are taking the investigation 5 quiz and beginning our review for the big Alchemy test next week. Your homework is to work on the review packet and be prepared to talk about it tomorrow.
April 2, 2008 - Wednesday
Today we covered Investigation 5, Lesson 5 - Salty Eights. This was a card game to help us practice figuring out what kind of ionic bonds are possible and how we go about writing them. There is a quiz tomorrow.
April 1, 2008 - Tuesday
Today we are covering Investigation 5, Lesson 4 - Getting Connected. Also, we watched a World of Chemistry film about chemical bonding. No homework tonight.
